1. Who we are

DealKhata provides a CRM-style application for property brokers. This policy describes how we handle personal data when you use our website and app. For questions, contact help@dealkhata.in.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, phone, password (stored encrypted), plan and billing status.

Business data you enter: owners, properties, leads, visits, deals, notes, and related contact details.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs for security and reliability.

Payment data: processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use data

• Provide and improve the DealKhata service
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure
• Send service-related emails (e.g. password reset, billing)
• Process subscriptions and support requests
• Comply with law and prevent abuse

4. Your responsibilities as a broker

You enter your clients’ and owners’ personal data. You are the data controller for that information in your business. You must collect it lawfully, tell people how you use it, and honour their rights. DealKhata acts as a processor/host for data you store in your account.

5. Sharing with third parties

We may share data with:

• Hosting: e.g. Railway or similar cloud providers (India or regions we configure)
• Payments: Razorpay for subscriptions
• Email: providers for transactional mail
• Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

6. Retention

We keep account and business data while your account is active. After closure, we may delete or anonymize data after a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or dispute purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, encrypted passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and protect your device.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act where it applies), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your account data. Contact help@dealkhata.in. You can update much of your profile and business data inside the app.

9. Cookies

We use session cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and secure the app. You can control cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

10. Children

DealKhata is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice where appropriate.
